Description of herbal formula according to Chinese Medicine:

Ren shen:

(Radix Ginseng) It is the most effective and potent herb to tonify Qi. It can strengthen the Spleen and Lungs, improve mental functions. It is excellent to help the body adjust to various stressful situations and has been shown to improve both physical and mental functions.

Shan yao:

(Rhizoma Dioscoreae) Tonifies and nourishes Spleen and Stomach Qi and yin to enhance the transportation and transformation functions of the Spleen and Stomach to treat lack of energy, fatigue, loose stools and other conditions that maybe characterized by deficiency of the middle Jiao.

Shu di huang:

(Radix Rehmanniae Preparata) Nourishes blood to treat blood deficiency and consequent lack of nourishment to the liver and heart. Proper circulation of blood is dependent on the volume of blood being circulated.

Gou qi zi:

(Fructus Lycii) Tonifies the liver and kidney yin. It is excellent for deficient patients who need mild tonics for a prolonged period of time. Nourishes the Kidney and benefits Qi.

Shi Chang pu:

(Rhizoma Acori) Opens the sensory orifices, improves mental functions and increases alertness and cognitive functions.

Du zhong:

(Cortex Eucommiae)Tonifies the liver and kidney to strengthen sinews and bones. Treats weakness and soreness in the knees and lower back.

Shan zhu you:

(Fructus Corni) Tonifies the kidney essence and liver blood for symptoms such as dizziness, vertigo, light headedness, soreness and weakness of the knees and lower back and impotency.

Huang qi:

(Radix Astragali) This is a great tonic herb. Used for Spleen qi deficiency and tonifies the defensive qi to protect the body and improve the immune system. Regulates water circulation, and numbness of the muscles caused by insufficient nourishment of the qi and blood.

Fu ling:

(Poria) Strengthens the Spleen and promotes absorption of nutrients from food, strengthen Qi and the immune system.

Dang gui:

( Radicis Angelicae Sinensis) Tonifies the Heart and Liver blood for symptoms such as anemia, pale complexion, brittle nails, dry hair, dizziness, blurred vision, and palpitations.

Dang shen

: (Radix Codonopsis) When there is Qi deficiency it is not uncommon to see symptoms such as weak extremities and fatigue. Dang shen tonifies the Qi and restores the constitution.

Mu dan Pi:

(Cortex Moutan) Clears heat and reduces irritability, anger and other heat signs.

Recommended to drink 2-4 cups daily.
