Numbness or tingling, especially in your feet and hands

Description of the formula according to Chinese Medicine:

Mai ya: (Fructus Hordei Germinatus) May lower plasma glucose levels. Dissolves food stagnation, promotes digestion and strengthens the middle Jiao.

Zhi mu: (Radix Anemarrhenae) Clears heat and generates fluids and quenches thirst. Nourishes yin and may decrease blood glucose levels. Sedate stomach fire and suppresses appetite to relieve polyphagia.

Bu gu zhi: (Fructus Psoraleae) Impotence, spermatorrhea, urinary incontinence, frequent urination.

Wu yao: (Radix Linderae) Warms the kidney, disperses cold. Enuresis causes by kidney yang deficiency, or by deficiency and cold of the urinary bladder. With deficiency of the kidney and urinary bladder the bladder cannot retain urine, resulting in enuresis. There may be accompanying soreness, coldness and weakness of the low back and knees, frequent urination during the night.

Shan yao: (Rhizoma Dioscoreae) Antidiabetic, lower blood glucose levels. Treats Kidney deficiency that manifest in frequent urination, premature ejaculation and sexual dysfunction. Strengthens the spleen and enhances its functions of transportation and transformation.

Shan zha: (Fructus Crataegi) Eliminates stagnation and promotes digestion. Activates blood circulation. Controls hunger and helps to reduce body weight and lower cholesterol.

Dang gui: (Radicis Angelicae Sinensis) Treats sores and abscesses that are slow to heal, chronic non healing uncerated sores. Generates flesh for slow healing sores due to qi and blood deficiencies. Tjis herb will help this by tonifying the blood.

Tu si zi: (Semen Cuscutae) Brightens the eyes, used, used for diminished vision, blurred vision, spots in front of the eyes, dryness of the eyes, and dizziness.

Huang qi: (Radix Astragali) Relieves numbness and pain. Numbness of the muscles in this case is due to insufficient nourishment and circulation of qi and blood. Huang qi has a strong effect to notify qi, which, in turn helps to generate blood and increase blood flow to the extremities. It tonifies and promotes normal circulation of qi to relieve skin and muscles numbness and pain.

Gymnema: Currently it is one of the major botanicals being administered for those suffering from diabetes, in boosting insulin levels and controlling healthy blood sugar levels.

Di qu pi: (Cortex Lycii) Helps patients that may have symptoms of thirst, dry mouth, irritability. Helps to stabilize blood sugar.

Dan Shen: (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae) Activates blood circulation and enhances the overall effectiveness of the herbs. Proper blood circulation also helps to prevent diabetes neuropathy.

Bai zhu: (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) Tonifes Qi, strengthens the Spleen for spleen deficiency with accumulated dampness. Dries dampness, eliminates water accumulation to enhance the function of transportation and transformation.

Hong hua: (Flos Carthami) Activates blood circulation ad enhances the overall effectiveness of the formula. Activates of blood circulation also reduces the risk of atherosclerosis by preventing buildup of cholesterol on the inner walls of blood vessls. Proper blood circulation also helps to prevent diabetic neuropathy.

Lu cha: Is used to treat fatigue and irritability, harmonize the formula.

Recommended to drink 1 cup with meals every day for 6 months

 

Blood glucose levels should be monitored when taking this formula.
