Description of formula according to Chinese Medicine:

Ye ju hua:

(Flos Chrysanthemi Indiei) Chief complaints of fever, aversions to cold and headache. Clears heat and eliminates toxins.

Da qing ye: (

Folium Isatidis) Clears heat and eliminates toxins. Used to clear heat and toxins from both the exterior or the interior with manifestations of high fever, sore throat and perspiration. Antibiotic effect.

Sheng jiang:

(Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) Warms the middle Jiao and alleviates vomiting and nausea.

Gao ben:

(Rhizoma Ligustici) Antibiotic effect against influenza viruses. It is used to treat headaches caused by influenza.

Huang qin:

(Radix Scutellariae) Clears heat and eliminates toxins in the eyes, throat, ears and nose. Treats a wide range of heat-related disorders characterized by fever, abdominal fullness, poor appetite, nausea, sensations of heaviness, thirst with no desire to drink.

She gan:

(Rhizoma Belamcandae) Clears heat and eliminate toxins. Great for sore throat with sharp pain, redness of the affected area, swollen throat and excruciating pain when swallowing by eliminating heat, toxins and phlegm. Antiviral against influenza viruses.

Bai jiang cao: (

Herba cum Radice Patriniae) This herb is most effective in alleviating fever, aversion to cold, stuffy nose, runny nose and body aches.

Huo xiang:

(Herba Agastache) Does an excellent job of harmonizing the Stomach and relieving nausea and vomiting. Has a broad spectrum antibiotic effect.

Huang qi:

(Radix Astragali) Immunostimulant to protect the body.

Zhu ru:

(Caulis Bambusae in Taenia) Relieves nausea and irritability. It is and excellent herb to treat nausea and vomiting. It clears excess heat from the stomach to relieve nausea, vomiting and acid regurgitation.

Fang feng:

(Radix Saposhnikoviae) Is the herb of choice when body aches and pain such as headache, muscle aches, sore throat. Antibiotic. Fang Feng was also shown to exert antiviral action against influenza viruses.

Zi su ye:

(Folium Perillae) Harmonizes the spleen and stomach to treat nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

Jin yin huo:

(Flos Lonicerae) Has a broad spectrum of antibacterial and antiviral functions.

Lu cha:

Clears the head and relieves headache. Harmonizes the stomach, directs rebellious stomach qi downward and relieves diarrhea, nausea vomiting. Also used to harmonize the formula.

Recommended to drink 1-2 cups daily to help protect you from the flu virus.
