Bai Xian Pi:
Temp. Cold, Taste Bitter, Inters Spleen, Stomach and Bladder
This is a great herb to clear heat and dry’s dampness.
Some of the areas that this herb can be used for is UTI because it clears heat and dampness and goes to the bladder.
Treats Eczema, measles, chicken pox, psoriasis, jock itch, it has an anti-fungal effect, so this is a fantastic herb to use in creams for topical use.
Anti-inflammatory to treat dry skin and itching.
Treats joint swelling due to heat as in rheumatoid arthritis.
Reduces liver damage and protects the liver
For itching combine with Fang Feng, Ku Shen, Dang gui.
Helps with the immune system and has an anti-oxidation effect by scavenging free radicals
If you make topical salves this is a must herb to add, place Bai Xian Pi in your oil of choice and let set for 8 weeks then add to your formula.
As a tea place in Boiling water turn down heat and simmer for 15 min.
Flu Soup for fever, achy, headache and heat signs:
Boil chicken together with garlic, onion, carrot, Bai Xian Pi, Huang Qi and Fang feng simmer and eat 3 times a day until symptoms are gone.
